Publisher Development Specialist

Job Description

This person will be responsible for helping drive the strategy and growth of NYIAX’s publisher partnerships by establishing, cultivating, and managing relationships with key publishers and SSPs. As a thought leader in the industry, the Publisher Development Specialist will work collaboratively with the SVP of Partnerships and leadership to educate and evangelize NYIAX’s capabilities to different publisher partners. This person should be based in either the greater New York City or Los Angeles areas.

Job Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively present and communicate the NYIAX value proposition to publishers and SSPs
  • Communicate the value of the NYIAX platform by walking through detailed demonstrations of the product
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Identify and sign key publisher partners in specific verticals of focus
  • Work collaboratively with Client Services and other internal groups to onboard publishers
  • Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, Product, & Engineering
  • Stay current on the industry and gather market feedback and provide consistent updates to products to drive innovation
  • Maintain detailed prospect list in internal CRM systems and provide updates to SVP of Partnerships

Required Qualifications

  • Two to four years in the digital advertising industry. Ad tech, SaaS, or publisher sales are pluses. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape with an emphasis on both direct IO and programmatic
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers at major publishers and SSPs are pluses 
  • Detail-oriented and well organized, comfortable working independently, and have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies
  • Outstanding ability to collaborate cross-functionally with our Sales, Product, and Operations teams
  • Must be a self-starter comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Strong acumen for problem-solving
